Ausley Construction was established in 1958 by J. Carlyle Ausley Jr., a graduate from the University of Florida in 1956 with a degree in Building Construction and a minor in Civil Engineering. In the 1950’s and 1960’s, Ausley Construction was primarily a local residential and commercial construction firm but grew quickly into a commercial only firm expanding beyond Ocala into the Central Florida Market. The key industries fueling growth were K-12 educational facilities, medical and healthcare projects, as well as religious structures.

Today, in it’s seventh decade of operation, Ausley Construction remains true to it’s legacy under the leadership of Carlyle’s sons, Ken and Steve Ausley. Ausley has grown to include additional principals, Todd Duffy and Dustin Magamoll. Whether it’s providing construction management services or design/build, our history affords us the luxury of having assembled a high performing team with decades of experience, bringing a depth to our team unrivaled by large competitors. Furthermore, we choose to focus on only 5 to 6 major projects a year ensuring that each project is personally overseen by a principal of the firm and staffed with experienced, high performing team members.

The downturn the construction industry experienced over the last decade was unprecedented. Few firms with our history, experience, and liquidity were able to not only survive but thrive while also maintaining a high bonding capacity and continuing to deliver great projects. Consistent growth over the course of seven decades is a direct result of our commitment to innovation. With the evolution of the construction industry, Ausley has continued to meet changing expectations, allowing us to utilize any delivery method that best suits your project. Our LEED certified team members allow us to be leaders in environmental sustainability. Whether we’re utilizing BIM technology or LEAN construction processes, we’re committed to delivering construction services that reflect the utmost in quality, service, and integrity while also innovating to exceed changing expectations.
